Apart from seeing your financial data visualized on the dashboard, you can also save these charts as images and use them in documents. This is particularly handy for conveying information to parents/boosters in an easy to read format. Its actually very simple:
Go to the dashboard
Right click the image you want
Click “Save File As” or “Save Image As” to download the file to your computer
Insert the image into your document
Remember, the graphs change dynamically as your data is updated, so be sure to finish any financial work in Ututti before downloading the graphs so they represent the most recent information.

New stuff is always fun, that’s why we’re redesigning Ututti from the ground up. In this major update you will see a new look and feel, some new features, and a much faster, easier to use interface.
In the meantime, this is your chance to let us know if you would like to see a certain feature added or changed. If you don’t use one of the current features, let us know how we can change it to help you out!
We are excited to announce a new student accounts feature that will allow users to manually add transactions to student accounts. Simply click a student’s balance in the student accounts list to add or subtract money from their account. See the video below for specific information:
Thanh Kirby created a 60 second commercial for uTutti for his Masters of Education Technology classes. We thought it was great and asked to post it on our blog:
The Video page has been updated with new videos. We have broken the large tutorials of the past version into several smaller chunks and re-recorded all of the tutorials. This way you don’t have to watch 6 minutes of a video that explains something you need in the last minute.
If you have suggestions for other tutorial videos, leave a comment or send us an e-mail!
We are trying a new support system powered by the web application “Get Satisfaction”. Every uTutti page now has a “Feedback” tab on the right side. Simply click this tab to ask a question, report a problem, or give us a suggestion (or praise). We also added a link to the new support community on our Community page. We feel that this has the potential to help people get answers and share feedback faster, while seeing what others have to say. As always, you can still contact us via e-mail!
We are proud to announce uTutti’s 1 year birthday! After a year of user feedback and great overall response, we’re just getting started. We hope to continue to provide our users with the best possible tools to make the most out of their music programs. With limited budgets and threatened programs across the nation, we will continue to provide an affordable, easy to use solution for all educators.
In one year we have helped music teachers:
Manage thousands of students in hundreds of music programs
Organize and track thousands of inventory items
Handle fundraisers, fees, and financial accounts for programs with as many as 300 students
Manage and display over 1,000 events to students and parents across the country
Get back to teaching instead of slaving over paperwork and spreadsheets!
Thank you to everyone who has made uTutti such a success! We look forward to continuing to help you do what you do best: teach and inspire!
